OWNER-OPERATOR AWARD Criteria: Candidates must have made an outstanding managerial contribution to the financial success and harmonious operation of a Hong Kong or Pearl River Delta registered company, either public or private Only the majority owner and/or chief executive of companies with a turnover of HK$50 million or above, will be considered Candidates must have also demonstrated the following skills criteria: Provided an environment to nurture leadership skills in other company members Empowered professional manager Built a culture to support i.e. established a company mission, vision, core values, business strategy and corporate/department strategies HR management that aligns with business objectives Adopted I.T. business planning, operation management, business process improvement, KPI, budgeting and financing to enhance competitive edge and operation efficiency Been proactive in adapting to the changing market Provided an environment to support continuous learning Shown open-mindedness, determination and strong leadership skills Demonstrated the ability to take calculated risks Re-strategized the organization to meet post economic crisis challenges
